Description:
The insect has an elongated ovate body, appearing dull black on the dorsal side and pale ochraceous on the ventral side. The head is as long as it is broad, with an interocular breadth longer than the anteocular length. The pronotum is slightly shorter than it is broad. The hemelytra are nearly parallel, and the membrane between them displays a complex reticulate pattern of veins. The abdominal appendages are slightly longer than the body length and feature long hairs. The tarsi have two joints each, with double claws.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
This species mostly found in shallow margin of water with bottom mud and debris. Found in Chittagong.
