Description:
It is a small to medium-sized frog with a slender body. Its dorsal coloration is vibrant emerald green, occasionally varying to brownish tones. The skin is smooth and moist. It has a small head with a pointed snout and large, bulging eyes for enhanced vision. The toes are well-developed with adhesive discs for climbing, and partial webbing aids in agility.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits forest floors, freshwater wetlands, ponds, ditches, canals etc. It is distributed in the Srimangal, Ruma and Kassalong reserved forest of Bangladesh.
