Kingdom: Animalia

Class: Insecta
Order: Trichoptera
Family: Leptoceridae
Description:
Adults of this species have a forewing length ranging from 6.1 to 6.6 mm, and the hind wing measures between 4.9 and 5.1 mm. The width of the eye is approximately 0.39–0.41 mm, while the antennal scape is 0.42–0.45 mm long. Maxillary palp segments have the following lengths (in mm): 0.26–0.31, 0.38–0.39, 0.53–0.56, 0.23, 0.52. The forewing is light brown and appears denuded. In terms of male genitalia: Abdominal segment IX has an anterior margin that is nearly straight, slightly produced anteroventrally. The pleural region is membranous and setose. Tergum IX, in dorsal view, has an indistinct posteromesal margin, with no evident dorsomesal papillae. Sternum IX, in lateral view, has a sinuate posterior margin. The preanal appendage is setose, about as long as it is wide, constricted basally, and the apex is subacute. The dorsomesal process of tergum X is digitate, originating basally and short, about half the length of tergum X, with apical setae. Tergum X, in dorsal view, has subtriangular lateral margins, with the apex slightly excavate medially. In lateral view, tergum X is parallel-sided, with a rounded apex, slightly excavate subapicoventrally, featuring a lateral flange, and apicolateral margins with microtrichia. The inferior appendage is subquadrangular basally, setose, with a long, tapering, apicoventral projection. The recurved process is gradually downturned, broad along the basal 2/3, with a subapicoventral projection, and the apex is sharply attenuate. The apicomesal lobe is heavily setose, elongate, and elliptical. The phallobase is small and triangular, with prominent endothecal membranes that are highly convoluted, featuring a pair of parameres. The parameres are subequal, long, straight, tapering, with longitudinal striae and a subapical denticle. The phalicata is trough-like, straight, narrow throughout its length, with the apex having a deep, wide cleft, and a large, u-shaped phallotremal sclerite.
