Description:
It has a broad head and a short snout, with nostrils located closer to the snout tip.The dorsal skin is rugged and covered with tubercles, while the ventral skin is granulated. The upper side of the hind limbs is notably corrugated. The frog’s coloration is light grey to dark brown on the dorsum with the rest of the body being white or cream. The ventral side is speckled with dark brown. Its fingers are free and end in rounded discs, while the toes are half-webbed with similarly dilated tips.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits forest floors, freshwater wetlands, ponds, ditches, canals etc. It is distributed in the northeast region of Bangladesh.
