The lorica has an elongated shape, ranging from ellipsoid to broadly fusiform, and appears colorless to pale yellow-brownish. At the anterior end, there is a short neck but a wide mouth, while the posterior end gradually tapers to a pointed tip. The lorica measures between 28 and 30 µm in length and 10-12 µm in width. Its cell wall exhibits a rough texture, and a flagellum approximately 13 µm long is present.
