Spirocamallanus inglisi is a reddish-brown worm with a cuticle marked by fine transverse striations. The head end is truncated, and the tail end is almost pear-shaped. Males are shorter and narrower than females. The buccal capsule is barrel-shaped and features two sets of spiral thickenings, with females having larger buccal capsules than males. The oesophagus is divided into muscular and glandular parts, with both parts being longer in females. Males have two unequal spicules: the longer right spicule is expanded at the base and tapers to a fine point, while the left spicule is shorter. Males also have ten pairs of caudal papillae, including six pairs pre-anal, one pair adanal, and three pairs post-anal. The male tail is short. In females, the cervical papillae are present but not distinctive in males. The vulva, located towards the posterior part of the body, has two prominent lips.
