Description:
The body is small and whitish, elongated. The cephalic end is rounded, tapering towards the posterior end. The cuticle is adorned with non-interrupted circles of spines, with some subsequent circles incomplete. The initial two circles of spines are closer to each other than the succeeding circles, with the first circles containing 20-23 spines and 10-11 spines in a semi-circle. The oral aperture is oval and surrounded by four low labia. The oesophagus begins at the 3rd circle of spines. The vulva is un-extruded and located in the hind portion of the body. The muscular vagina is directed anteriorly from the vulva. Fully grown ova fill the entire uterus, which is smooth and thick-walled. The tail is pointed and measures 0.086 mm in length.

Commonly found in the fish pond, rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh
