Description:
The shell is petite, delicate, and see-through, with its tip not extending past the back edge. The soft parts of the organism are significantly altered. The coloration can vary, but typically, it’s a yellowish-brown hue with dark brown bands radiating outward.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Freshwater and estuarine dweller, common in the coastal streams. In Bangladesh, it is found in the Sundarbans and major coastal districts in fresh and brackish water.
