The carapace is wide, with a width approximately 1.4 times the length; the cervical groove is prominent, and the surface is nearly smooth. The gastrocardiac groove is distinct, and the epigastric cristae are swollen, positioned anteriorly to the postorbital cristae. The postorbital cristae are sinuous and sharp, with an acute epibranchial tooth. There is a lobe-like extension between the orbital tooth and epibranchial tooth. The pleon has a ‘T’ shape. The cheliped is unequal, featuring a small to medium gap between the pollex and dactylus. Triangular teeth of medium size are present on the cutting edges of both the pollex and dactylus. The carpus has an acute tooth, and the merus has a blunt tooth. The dactylus is equipped with strong, spiny setae. The male reproductive organ (G1) is robust, adorned with numerous short bristles. The terminal segment is conical, and the flexible zone is narrow and ‘V’-shaped. The subterminal segment is robust.
