Description:
It is a small bush frog. The snout is almost oval-shaped. The nostrils are ovoid, flapless, and closer to the tip of the snout than to the eyes. The eyes are large and protruding with a horizontal pupil. The dorsum is granular, covered with small, horny spicules. Raorchestes rezakhani has a single translucent vocal sac located lower on the throat. The forelimbs are shorter than the hands, which lack metacarpal tubercles. The fingers have no dermal fringe or webbing, but the fingertips have round, well-developed discs with circum-marginal grooves. The toes have moderate webbing.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits forest floors, freshwater wetlands, ponds, ditches, canals etc. It is distributed in the northeast region of Bangladesh.
