It is a medium-sized frog with an elongated body. The head is nearly as long as it is wide. The nostrils are round and positioned closer to the tip of the snout than to the eyes. The pupil is round, and the tympanum is also rounded. The dorsal and lateral parts of the head are granular, as are the back and upper flanks, which also feature loose skin. Prominent and narrow dorsolateral folds are present. The skin on the thigh is granular with extensive foldings. The forearm is shorter than the hand. The tips of the fingers and toes are rounded, with the toes having complete webbing.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits forest floors, freshwater wetlands, ponds, paddy fields, ditches, canals etc. It is distributed in the hill stream in Ruma, Bandarban region of Bangladesh.
