Description:
The colonies take on a disk-shaped form and feature hornlike projections around the periphery. Young cells are characterized by a single nucleus, while mature cells can possess up to eight nuclei. Asexual reproduction occurs through the generation of motile spores, and sexual reproduction involves the production of mobile gametes.
