Description:
The body has a uniform coloration with a pale mid-dorsal stripe and brown submarginal stripes on each lobe of the caudal fin. It features a thoracic adhesive apparatus extending beyond the base of the last pectoral-fin ray, and the mouth is positioned sub-terminal/inferior. It has 5 dorsal soft rays in total, 10-11 anal soft rays, and 29-30 vertebrae.

Inhabits clear, shallow, moderately flowing stream with a predominantly sandy bottom
