Description:
It has a short and rounded body with an elongated tail, lacking a carapace cover. It possesses large compound eyes. At the end of the abdomen, there are two long setae, and the brood sac is globular in shape. The antennules are tiny and situated on the ventral surface of the head. It has four pairs of robust legs equipped with sturdy claws and branchial appendages. Reproduction occurs through sexual reproduction via gametogenesis and asexual reproduction through parthenogenesis.

Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
