Description:
The body of the insect measures between 1.4 and 1.5 millimeters. Its upper part is of a pale stramineous color, with the central posterior disk of the pronotum showing apparent discoloration. There are no spots on the vertex, but a broad longitudinal line is present on the frons. The pronotum exhibits a few spots on both the basal and apical portions. The lower part of the body is piceous (dark brown to blackish), while the legs are of a pale stramineous hue. The hemelytra (forewings) are marked with two oblique fasciae.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
They live in aquatic vegetation in the still waters of ponds and lakes. Found in Rajshahi.
