Description:
The body is flattened, translucent or greyish-green, and elliptical in shape, with a dilated head region. It has 71 rings, with eyes on ring 3. The anterior sucker has a shallow cup, and the mouth is terminal. The dorsal surface has three pairs of papillae, with the second pair being the largest. Male and female pores open between rings 26 and 27, and 28 and 29, respectively.

Commonly found in the fish pond, rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh
