Description:
The valves of this species are linear, with straight and parallel margins. At the ends, the valves have broad, rounded apices that are slightly swollen in some specimens. The axial area occupies approximately one-third of the valve width and expands into an irregularly rhombic central area characterized by a broad transverse band.
