Description:
Phacus curvicauda is morphologically similar to P. anomalus, with the main distinction being the shape of their transverse optical sections. In P. anomalus, this section is wedge-shaped with rounded angles, while in P. curvicauda, it appears sigmoid or dumb-bell-shaped.
