The carapace is highly oval-shaped with smooth and convex surfaces. The branchial regions are noticeably swollen, and the epibranchial and postorbital crests are very low and faint. The epibranchial tooth is low and not prominent, while the anterolateral margins are clearly curved and smooth. The external orbital angle is very low, sometimes barely visible, and often merges with the anterolateral margin, forming a broadly triangular shape when discernible. The outer margin of the orbital angle is significantly longer than the inner margin, and the posterolateral margins are slightly curved and strongly converging. The exopod of the third maxilliped extends halfway along the length of the merus and possesses a well-developed flagellum. The gonopod (G1) is stout, slightly curved, and points outward or upward, with the terminal segment clearly defined from the subterminal segment, being half as long as the subterminal segment and conical in shape. The second gonopod (G2) has a noticeable distal segment, longer than half the length of the basal segment.
