Description:
The cell bodies exhibit a polygonal shape, are granulated, and feature horn-like projections. Inner cells take on H or X shapes and mature into trapezoid or rectangular forms. The cell wall is smooth, and there is an open space at the center of colonies. Reproduction is asexual, involving the formation of autocolonies.
