Description:
The creatures feature three terminal spines or bristles and possess eight to eleven antennal segments. They have a relatively elongated caudal branch with a row of small spines on the dorsal surface. Their tail is branched and includes a distinct segmented fifth leg. Additionally, they have eight-segmented antennae and a caudal branch adorned with rows of spines.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
