Description:
Ozobranchus shipleyi, a flat-bodied aquatic leech, displays a translucent body tinted with a muted yellow hue. Notably, it features eleven pairs of colorless lateral branchiae, akin to digits. Two pairs of suckers are present, with the posterior sucker notably larger than the anterior one. It exhibits 49 annuli along its body, with eyes situated on ring 5. The mouth opens subterminally, while the male and female ducts share a common pore between rings 19 and 20.
