Description:
This trichome is straight, lacks constrictions at the junctions between its cells, and measures 15-20 μm in width. The individual cell bodies are short, ranging from 3-5 μm in length, and there are granules present along the septum. The end cells are semielliptical in shape and have thickened cell walls.

Occurs in small, stagnant, and slow-flowing waters.
