Description:
The organism’s lorica takes on a box-like shape and consists of two plates. Its mastax contains a malleate trophi. A dot-like marking is present on the dorsal plate. There are two or three pairs of spines located along the dorsal margin. The posterior margin of the ventral plate is capable of protrusion. Additionally, it has six anterior spines and lacks any foot or ventral attachment structures.

Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
