Description:
Body is cylidrical, round shape. It has tapering tail. Greyish to yellowish body covered by iregular brown band on the back with a row nearly regular but much smaller brown bands along the lateral line. Relatively large eyes are present. Two black unequal bands occur on tail portion.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Occur in clear waters, hill streams with sandy bottom.
