Description:
The carapace, which is dome-shaped with a low keel at the top, displays a greenish or greyish color. Marginals lack serrations, and the nuchal shield is broader than long. The plastron is narrow and notched at the rear. The small head is covered with enlarged scales, and the snout is pointed. The plastron is yellowish or orange, occasionally with black blotches. The head shows an olive color with three yellow side stripes, and limbs have yellow margins. Females are larger with shorter tails than males.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
The species is widely distributed in Bangladesh, occurring in the areas between the Ganges and Brahmaputra rivers.
