It is a small-sized frog with a large head and a pointed snout. The dorsal skin is smooth, except for some oblong tubercles. The color of the dorsum ranges from brown to brownish-olive, with a few dark irregular spots, while the ventral surface is white. A distinct, broad, cream-colored mid-dorsal line runs from the snout to the vent. The fingers are small or medium-sized and free of webbing. The toes are long, thin, and have less developed webs.
