Description:
It is a small frog with a head length about equal to its width. The snout is rounded, and the nostrils are closer to the tip of the snout than to the eyes. The inter-orbital space is wider than the inter-nostril space. The skin is smooth, and the slender fingers are free of webbing. The femur is shorter than the tibia, and there is rudimentary webbing between the toes.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits forest floors, freshwater wetlands, ponds, paddy fields, ditches, canals etc. It is distributed widely in the Southeast region of Bangladesh.
