Description:
Body is slender yet sturdy. Its segmented antennae feature rows of spines. There is a line of spines positioned at the level of the medial setae and near the distal border. The upper jaw palm lacks spines. The maxillary ataxia exhibits clear rows of spines, but the base of the medial distal border lacks spines. On the caudal branch, the medial margin is smooth while the base is adorned with spines.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
