Description:
The cells are small, slightly curved, and cylindrical in shape, measuring 18 µm in length and 6 µm in width. They possess a soft and smooth periplast. A flagellum, approximately the same length as the body, is present. Reproduction occurs asexually through longitudinal cell division, starting from the apex and extending to the base of the cell.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
They are associated with freshwater habitats.
