Description:
Elongated body with two rod-shaped chromatophores, silicious scales, and frequently spines; fresh water. Numerous tiny circular or oval siliceous scales, which are typical of the species and typically have a long spine, cover the lone ovoid or fusiform cell. Typically, there are two elongated chromatophores located laterally, with an occasional solitary ovoid one near the centre of the cell.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
They primarily thrive in freshwater habitats.
