Description:
The organism’s body is oval in shape. Males possess extended first antennae, whereas females have shorter ones. It features nine terminal sensory hairs, with three of them being notably longer than the others. The posterior abdomen appears narrow and thick. Its ventral margin is uniform, while the dorsal margin is divided into two lobes.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
