Description:
The pronotum and elytra lack noticeable hairs, having shorter and sparser ones without a clear combination of longer and sparser hairs. The apical spine of the elytron is slender, narrower at the base, and of somewhat variable length. The pronotum typically bears two black spots, although their delimitation can be unclear at times. Additionally, the two basal metatarsomeres are longer and more slender. The shape of the penis is distinct, and the tip of the penis apex is clearly defined.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
They live in lentic or lotic water. They also live in brackish as well as fresh water.
