Description:
The rostrum of this species is elongated and slender, extending well beyond the antennal scale. It forms a prominent high basal crest above the eye and is equipped with 6 to 9 dorsal teeth and 6 to 8 ventral teeth. The hepatic crest is clearly defined, and the second legs are relatively large. In terms of size, females can reach a maximum total length of about 70 mm, while males typically attain a maximum length of 50 mm.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Fresh water and brackish water species. In Bangladesh, it occurs in most of the southern districts.
