Description:
The dorsal plate is broader than the ventral plate. At the anterior end of the dorsal plate, there is a small to medium-sized sinus. The lorica has an oval shape, with slightly concave anterior margins. These organisms have long, parallel, and slender toes, which terminate in sharp, conical points without any claws. They reproduce through asexual means.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
