Description:
The organism’s lorica is elongated, featuring a broader dorsal plate. The dorsal plate is circular and widest in the middle portion. The ventral plate exhibits noticeable external angles. Its anterior dorsal margin is concave, while the ventral margin is undulating. It possesses two toes with parallel sides and incompletely separated claws. Each claw is accompanied by a single basal spine.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
