Description:
The lorica is pear-shaped, with anterior margins corresponding to a wide V-shaped sinus. Two large prominent spines are present at the external angles. The dorsal plate extends beyond the ventral plate at the postero-lateral angles. The toes are elongated and parallel-sided, ending in a short claw.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Commonly found in rivers in Bangladesh, such as the Halda River.
