Description:
It has elogated body.Mouth small, lips thick, fimbriated and continuous. Dorsal profile is little more convex than that of the abdomen.Eyes are large not visible from underside of head. It has distinct lateral lobes. Pelvic fins originate below the 5th or 6th ray of the dorsal. Color of body is dar along the back, sides and the middle of the sides. Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Abundant in streams of Sylhet, Mymensingh, Dinajpur and Rangpur.
