Description:
The body is fairly large, leaf-like, and translucent when extended, with a smooth, unarmed cuticle and margins that fold ventrally. The oral sucker is sub-terminal and topped with preoral lobes. The pharynx is small and adjacent to the oral sucker. The esophagus is very short, and the well-developed acetabulum is located in the anterior half of the body.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits the swim bladder of the freshwater fishes. It is found throughout Bangladesh.
