The shell is moderately large and thick, displaying a sinistral, depressed coil with three rounded whorls. The apex is sunken, and the last whorl is notably large, rounded at the periphery. The suture is deeply impressed, and the aperture is ear-shaped. The foot is relatively broad, short, and leaf-shaped, with a lobed posteriorly pointed branchial process. In newly hatched offspring, the width is initially greater than the length, but within 7 to 10 days, the width and length become equal. After about 20 days, the width surpasses the length again, and around 30 days later, the length becomes half of the width. The exterior color is golden with creamy spiral bands, transitioning from golden to greenish from the aperture to the apex. On average, the shell measures 16 mm in length, 8 mm in width, with an aperture length of 4 mm and an aperture width of 6 mm.
