Classification:
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Arthropoda
Class: Arachnida
Order: Trombidiformes
Family: Hygrobatidae
Description:
(Male) – The anterior margin of the male genital field exhibits a less pronounced medial projection, while the posterior margin lacks indentation and features a small convexly rounded projection. The length of the proximoventral seta of the fourth leg’s sixth segment measures 38 μm. Description: Male – The coloration is yellowish, and the integument appears finely striated. The posteromedial margin of the first abdominal segment (Cx-I) is rounded, with slightly developed caudo-lateral apodemes. The fourth abdominal segment (Cx-IV) is subtriangular, featuring a distinct nose-like protruding medial margin. The anterior margin of the genital field is convex, with a small medial projection typically accompanied by an irregular margin of secondary sclerotization. The posterior margin, due to the secondary sclerotization, lacks indentation and instead has a small centrally rounded projection, with accessory copulatory structures arranged in a triangular formation (Ac). The gnathosoma (mouthparts) anteriorly displays clearly offset projections. The ventral margin of the second palp segment (P-2) is straight, forming a right angle distally, with denticles covering the distal half of the ventral margin. The third palp segment (P-3) bears denticles covering the distal two-thirds of the ventral margin, while the ventral setae of the fourth palp segment (P-4) are situated at the same level.
