Description:
It is a slender perennial herb with a creeping growth habit, forming a dense mat of leaves. Its stalked leaves have membranous leaf blades that vary in shape from kidney-shaped-rounded to 5-angular, appearing shiny light green and variable in hairiness. The stems are thin, round, and cream-colored.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It typically grows in semi-shaded to sunny areas along the edges of water bodies such as ponds, lakes, and rivers. It can be found in the Tanguar haor area of Bangladesh.
