Description:
It is a large-sized frog with a head that is pointy and longer than wide. The tongue has a forked tip. The dorsal and lateral sides feature small bulbous warts. Fingers are free and end in rounded tips. The toe tips are also rounded and have a wide web.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits freshwater wetlands, paddy fields, ditches, canals etc. In Bangladesh, it is found in the southeastern Cox’s Bazar district and the Chittagong Hill Tracts region.
