Description:
The dorsal fin has 10 soft rays, and the anal fin has 7. It has four little barbels around its mouth. There are 32 to 35 scales running along its side, and 16 scales around its tail base. In its jaw, it has teeth arranged in three rows. The fish has a round snout with a groove in front of its nostrils, and its anal opening is slightly ahead of its anal fin, separated by two scales.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Adults inhabit gravel bottoms in mountain streams and adhere to stones using their disk.
