Description:
It is a medium-sized frog with interrupted longitudinal folds on its back, a smooth underside, a wider inner metatarsal tubercle, and a relatively pointed snout. Its finger and toe tips are rounded and slightly swollen, while its hind limbs are moderately long. The webbing on the fourth toe extends less than halfway between the distal and penultimate subarticular tubercles.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits freshwater wetlands, ponds, paddy fields, ditches, canals etc. It is distributed widely throughout Bangladesh.
