Description:
It is a medium-sized frog showcasing a striking appearance. Its dorsal coloration varies from vibrant shades of green to brown, adorned with a distinctive dark streak running from behind the eyes to the shoulders. The head is broad, slightly broader than long, featuring an obtusely pointed snout that protrudes just beyond the lower jaw. The forelimbs are moderately long and slender, with distinctively swollen tips on the free fingers. The hindlimbs appear robust, with poorly developed webbing between the toes.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits forest floor, freshwater wetlands, ponds, paddy fields, ditches, canals etc. It is distributed widely throughout Bangladesh.
