The parasite’s body widens towards the middle and tapers towards the ends, with the head end not being swollen. Its cuticle lacks spines, and the transverse outline becomes more distinct towards the ends. The mouth cavity is surrounded by 12 to 18 oral papillae, typically arranged in rows with 6 papillae in each row, including 2 lateral and 4 submedian papillae. The parasite also has 2 rows of lateral papillae along its body. The esophagus widens, especially towards the rear. In males, the copulatory bursa is muscular and thick-walled, without rib-like formations, while the spicule is long and needle-shaped. The female’s body ends bluntly without a clearly defined tail, and the vulva is located close to the terminal anus.
