Description:
It is a small frog with a large, triangular head. There is no mid-dorsal line, and the nostrils are round, small, and located much closer to the snout tip. The dorsal surface is greenish-brown, while the ventral surface is white. The snout is nearly pointed, and the tympanum is round. The forelimbs are robust, and the fingers are small and lack webbing. The hind limbs are relatively longer than the forelimbs, and the toes have well-developed webbing.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits freshwater wetlands, ponds, paddy fields, ditches, canals etc. It is distributed in the Barisal district of Bangladesh.
