Description:
The cells exhibit an elliptic to ovoid shape, measuring 51 µm in length and 38-46 µm in width. The posterior end is broadly rounded, while the anterior end features a central groove. Their periplast displays striations, and the chloroplasts are discoid, round, or angled. Additionally, they contain numerous paramylon granules, which vary in shape from round to elliptical or ovoid.
