Description:
The dorsal plate of this organism is either the same size as or smaller than the ventral plate, and they are connected by a flexible membrane. The body, which typically ranges from 150 to 250 µm in length, features a retractile head and is strongly compressed dorso-ventrally. The foot consists of two rudimentary segments, with only the posterior segment being movable. The toes are parallel-sided. These organisms are predominantly small littoral species.

Commonly found in the rivers of Bangladesh.
